Villa Merissa is a very private 10 bedroom, romantic hillside hideaway, available for exclusive, private rentals of either 10 bedrooms (for a maximum of 20 guests) or 8 bedrooms (for a total of 16 people).

Location

Villa Merissa is uniquely blessed with both glorious sunrises from the tropical mountains and incredible flaming Vallartan sunsets over the Pacific.

Nestled between the colonial seaside resort of Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding lush tropical jungle, Villa Merissa offers quick walking access to Puerto Vallarta downtown (2 blocks stroll), Los Muertos Beach (5 blocks away) and Conchas Chinas beaches (5 min taxi ride).

Our unmatched hillside location offers convenient access to all amenities while our elevation ensures privacy, spectacular views and tropically refreshing breezes.

Included in the Rental Cost:

Exclusive use of Villa Merissa as either a 10 or 8 bedroom villa. Rental of the villa also includes our staff services: Chef, Sous-chef, waiter/houseman, housemaid and English-speaking villa hostess.

Bedrooms

Our 10 bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated in traditional Mexican style. All beds have feather down European style comforters with all-white, high-count cotton bedding. All rooms are individually air-conditioned and each has a lock up box for your valuables. All our bedrooms are non-smoking.

Our 10 bedrooms consist of 6 King bedrooms, 2 queen bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with twin beds. If you have reserved the villa with 8 bedrooms only, two rooms will be locked during your stay. 8 rooms have en suite bathrooms. 2 rooms share a bathroom. All bathrooms have large, all-tiled, showers/tubs.

A floor plan of our villa, showing the bed layout, is available on request. This might make it easier for you to decide allocation of rooms and will make check in much quicker for you.

Transfer to Villa Merissa

If you require this service you will need to let us know before your day of arrival. Current cost for a van for 8 persons & luggage is $80 to $90.00 US paid directly to the driver.

Breakfast and Dinner Services

Our dining room offers unparalleled dining ambience with breathtaking views, candlelight and an amazing, specially designed, handmade iron and tile dining table to comfortably seat 16.

Breakfast is served daily between 9am and 10am. We serve a hearty buffet breakfast that includes a daily changing choice of: eggs, potatoes, breakfast meats, fruit, cereals, freshly baked home made pastries, toast, yogurt, granola and juice, tea and coffee.

Dinner service is at 7pm nightly. Hors d'oeuvres are served at 5 to 6pm.

Generally, our first evening's menu, prepared by our chef, will be:
Hors d'oeuvres: Chicken Tacitos, guacamole and salsa
Caesar Salad Steak and Chicken Fajitas
Quesadillas,Guacamole, Salsas, Rice and Frijoles (Beans)
Flan

At the beginning of your stay, you will need to decide your choice of menu per evening (one choice of entrée, main course and dessert). Please see our sample menu under 'House Tour - Kitchen'. Kids menus and vegetarian options are also available on request.

Our chefs are unable to prepare lunch, however, with prior notice, they are more than happy to pre-stock your refrigerator with your favorite lunchtime snacks or to arrange for delivery service for you from one of the many excellent restaurants in Vallarta.

Food and Beverage Deposit

Food and drink costs are charged at net rates and all receipts will be provided at the end of your stay. Generally, depending on the selection of food, beverages & the number of persons in your party, (the smaller the group, the higher the per person cost will be) estimated food and beverage costs run at approximately
• $200 US per person per week (for groups of 15 to 20 persons),
• $225 US per person per week (for groups of 11 to 14 persons) to
• $250 US per person per week (for groups of 8 to 10 persons)
The above estimates include Breakfast, Dinner, and national beverages only. Estimate doesn't include any lunch food costs or imported spirits or imported wine costs.

• Smirnoff Vodka or Absolut
• Beer (Corona, Pacifico and Negro Modelo)
• Soft Drinks (Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke, Bottled water, Tonic water, Mineral water)
• Fruit Juice (orange, pineapple, grapefruit)

Should you require any other beverages and wine on your arrival, please do let us know before you come (subject to availability)
